My heart is breaking listening to and viewing the coverage from Oklahoma, but touched by the stories of all of the everyday heroes.
I didn’t forget Mother’s Day, I just spent the whole day celebrating with the mother of my THREE kiddos! That’s right, we have a #3 on the way! Here’s a picture of the woman I fell in love with 21 years ago (pic taken 18 years ago). In my eyes she hasn’t aged a day.
And here’s a pic of the woman who gave me life, and encouraged the little boy with a big imagination. My hero, my favorite muppet, my mom – Kermit the Frog (with her barbershop quartet)
And how cute is this? My wife with my mother-in-law – just a few years ago. Beautiful.
“When I was very young, most of my childhood heroes wore capes, flew through the air, or picked up buildings with one arm. They were spectacular and got a lot of attention. But as I grew, my heroes changed, so that now I can honestly say that anyone who does anything to help a child is a hero to me.”

Well, Cinco de Mayo flew right by with no time for posting, but what I WANTED to post was this fun felt finger puppet craft idea for you and your kiddos. Cinco de Mayo may be over, but there is still time for some felt burro fun!
